Bangkok Food Tour

Bangkok Food Tour

If you find yourself in Bangkok and are craving an authentic taste of the city then look no further than Bangkok Food Tours. When travelling to a new place, one of the best ways to instantly immerse yourself into it all in my opinion, is by doing a food tour. Not only do you get to become familiar with the area, but you also get to spend an evening meeting other people that share your same interest. Even if you have been living in one place your whole life and think you have seen it all, try doing a food tour or a cooking class as a break from the normal Friday night dinner at the local eatery.

Bangkok Food Tour

This was our favourite food tour through Asia and ended up repeatedly going back to the locations we had visited, mostly the ones situated in China Town. Sampling over 10 dishes per tour will leave you feeling full well into the following day and the knowledge you learn about the food and culture of Bangkok is well worth the tour. If you have been to Bangkok before or if it is your first time visit, solo or with a group of people, I highly recommend these tours as you will not be disappointed.

Tours:

Yaowarat Night Foodie Walk: $1,350.00 pp ($45.00 usd)

– Taking place on Yaowarat Road, Chinatowns most popular local dining scene, this 3 hour tour takes you to over 8 different places and sampling over 11 different Chinese-Thai dishes. This was our favourite tour and had the most dishes offered that we had not tried before including this green pandan noodle wrapped shrimp dim sum.

Best Eats Midnight Food Tour by Tuk Tuk: $1,900.00 pp ($60.00 usd)

– This new tour takes a look at exploring Bangkok’s rich food scene and discovering some of the temples through a night time perspective. Some of the highlights include tasting the best Pad Thai in the city, the iconic flower market and a drink at the “Secret Bar” boasting the best view in Bangkok.

Historic Bangrak Food Tasting Tour: $1,150.00 pp ($35.00 usd)

-Awarded Thailand’s best tour program in 2013, the Historic Bangrak tour takes you on 3 hour off the normal tourist path to this century old neighbourhood. This tour would defiantly be considered the most “local”, eating at generation-old run food shops and most likely not seeing many other foreigners around. A few of the dishes sampled were the Crispy Duck (YUM!) and some of the best beef Laksa around.
